Is this just a digital business card?
The card is the introduction. MtejaCard also helps people exchange details, keep the context and continue through the right contact, booking, quote or follow-up action.
Can someone save my contact on their phone?
Yes. Save Contact downloads a .vcf contact file. On iPhone or Android, open it and confirm the save in Contacts. No MtejaCard account or app is needed. Your phone controls the final save.
Does the person scanning need an app?
No. The card opens in the browser. Visitors can view, save or exchange without signing up. NFC cards are optional.
What happens when my details change?
Update your MtejaCard and the online profile changes while its permanent URL and QR stay the same. A contact already saved in someone’s phone needs the updated contact file; MtejaCard does not silently edit their phone book.
Can someone send their details back?
Yes. Exchange Details opens a short consent form. They choose what to share; you receive their details and they can download your permitted contact details. There is no automatic marketing enrollment.
Does this work for content creators and social bios?
Yes. Your Social View can bring together important channels, featured work, a media kit and collaboration enquiries. Your main professional card stays focused and easy to use.
Can my company create cards for staff?
Yes. Business and Enterprise add an organization workspace, centralized branding, role templates, provisioning, field controls, delegates and deactivation. Business starts at five users.
Can executives and public officials keep direct details private?
Yes. Choose public, exchangeable, approval-only or private fields. An authorized EA or Protocol Officer can handle permitted requests without using the principal’s password. Advanced privacy requires Pro or above; team delegation is in Business and Enterprise.
What does organization verification mean?
The named organization has confirmed a current relationship or role. Verification is specific and revocable. The profiles here are clearly marked demonstration examples.
Can we use our own domain?
Business and Enterprise can support branded domains where scoped. Setup and integrations depend on the agreed plan and requirements.
Are there ads or third-party QR gates?
No. Every plan includes an ad-free profile and a permanent first-party QR destination. Visitors do not have to watch an ad or install an app.
Do I have to buy an NFC card or pay a setup fee?
No. Use your QR, link, email signature or social bio. Self-service setup has no setup fee. Optional NFC cards and assisted rollout are quoted separately.
Can I export my contacts and data?
Yes. Export connections as CSV and account data as JSON. Contact files use the standard vCard format.
Is this a live service?
This is an interactive prototype with sample data. Changes are stored in this browser. Authentication, payments, verification and message delivery are simulated. Use sample information only.
